ORIGIN

Louis and Jeff went to school together and met again in scouts. Despite a two-year age gap, they shared an enormous passion for DJing and it didn't take long before they started playing back to back.

But the parties where they could play weren't for them. Not their crowd, not their vibe, not their music. So they came together to build their own stage. That's how Bakfissa was born.

The parties where we could play
weren't for us.
So we made our own.

Jef was 17, Louis was 18. Money was tight — but they both had a bakfiets. He had one, I had one. The link to their concept was obvious: load the gear onto the bike, find a spot, play. No venue, no contract, no overhead.

The name came naturally: bakfiets + fissa — slang for a party, a good time, a gathering. Bakfissa. Simple, theirs, and exactly what it needed to be: an affordable party for their generation, built on nothing more than two bikes and a shared love for music.

BAKFIETS

No venue, no lease. A cargo bike, a sound system, and a spot in the city. That's the whole setup.

FISSA

Affordable parties built for the people around us. No VIP, no guest list — just good music and an open door.

OURS

Built by two teenagers with nothing but bikes and taste. Still run the same way today.
