Every artist who plays Bakfissa is connected to the city born here, living here,
or rooted here. This is the extended family: the DJs and live acts who keep the
wheels turning and the sound moving.
Bakfissa Locals is our residency programme a small, carefully chosen collective
of DJs we genuinely believe in. Being a Local means more than just playing our
parties. Our locals get placed on lineups at external events too, where we
represent them as a crew. Think of it as a collective: we move together, we grow
together.
Beyond the bookings, we actively support our locals with everything they need to
build their career. That starts with the presskit bio, photos, mix link the
basics that open doors. We organise dedicated photo and video shoots so every
Local has professional material to work with.
We also record and film DJ sets properly, not on a phone and release them
online as promo content. On top of that, we run regular livestreams with our
locals to keep their sound reaching new audiences between events.
